hotpoint FDW60 dishwasher playing up

Hi all,

Wonder if anyone can tell me how to fix above dishwasher.
The salt light is flashing (is full and has done 8+ washes) and when the wash and dry is finished the delicate cycle light flashes. we cannot change programme and the machine has to be turned off and on which cures the problem. The machine does not seem to be cleaning as well as it was and the filter is cleaned and have filled the rinse aid.

Would be gratefull for any help, thanks.
