Hotpoint Spin Prob

I have a hotpoint WM52 and when its on a programme, it only spins slowly and does not empty water from drum. Sometimes when I put it on manual spin it works fine, but only sometimes!

Any ideas?
 
It's got to drain properly before going into spin. Check to see that the pump is working and not blocked.
