Hotpoint Ultima 1200 (WD72)

Just acquired A Hotpoint Ultima 1200 (WD72) washer dryer Not a new one. I have managed to download a manual for it as it didn't come with one.

Is there a filter on it ?? If so where ??

There is no mention of how to clean the filter out in the instructions.

All other machines I have had in the past have had a thing on the front that unscrews to clean the debris out, normally buttons, hairgrips (not mine) etc...

Any help would be greatly appreciated

the filter is at the back remove about 20 screws on the rear panel and its down the bottom big black sump with a clip round it .

How will I know that it needs cleaning ??

Thinking about it, I suppose it will stop pumping the water out !!

Is there any other indication ?

correct it wont pump out you can fill it with water and put on a spin prog hold the drain hose into a bucket if it is fast flowing into bucket the filter is clear

I haven't got a problem with it (yet!!) Just puzzled where the filter was.
