Hi
Could you please advise on a problem with my
hotpoint ultima 1200 washer dryer

It will not pump any water out and has a E15 error
and check outlet pipes message.

How can i get diagrams for this washer dryer so i could maybe remove the filter or investigate the problem

i would really appreciate any advice

best regards
Tommy

Unplug the machine, pull it out. Lower the drain hose into a basin and drain the water out.
Once you've got the water out put some towels down and take the back panel off. Remove the drain hose from the bottom of the tub and clean out the filter.

Hi
Many thanks for your reply, unfortunately i still have the problem.

I unplugged the washer, removed the rear panel and drained the water out.

I was looking at the drum and a drain hose which connected to the pump.

I removed the three small screws which secured the drain hose to the drum and pulled off the other end of the hose from the pump.

There were a few buttons etc which dropped out of the hose and i thought this would cure the fault so i reconnected the hose and outlet pipe and tested it.

It fills the washer with water and starts a wash, but then it just stops with the same E15 check outlet pipes message bleeping.
Do you know what else i could try?

The drain hose is connected to the pump and also to the drum which seems to have a rubber clip with a spring inside it, i could not remove this clip so i removed the three screws as i mentioned earlier and poured water through the drain hose and it flowed through easily and i thought i had cleared it
Is the filter in the drain hose?

I am sorry to be a pain, but i really do appreciate your kind help
best reghards
Tommy

The filter is in the hose coming from the bottom of the tub to the pump.

Hi
I am sorry for the delay in getting back to you as i have been very busy

I removed the filter and gave it a thourough clean and put it all back together again, but unfortunately it is still stopping halfway though a wash with the same E15 check outlet pipes message and the washings piling up ( so my better half keeps telling me! )

thank you so much for your patience and kind help

best regards
Tommy

Well with that out of the way it's down to the pump itself. Either something in it jamming it or a broken impellor. Take the pump out and see what you find.
Turn the impellor, it should have some resistance and then jump 1/4 turn.

Hi

I have now checked the pump and it functions
exactly as you said it should.

I have read somewhere that a faulty control card could
possibly cause problems similar to that of my washer.
Is it easy to replace the card

Best regards
Tommy

ps, many thanks again for your kind help.
