My old WD420 was starting to leave clothes smelling, so I put some bleach in it and put it on a hot wash. After 2 hours of it sitting with it half full of water and clicking, I turned it off.
Since I've done a drain out, and tried to do a rinse and spin, but it keeps stopping with light 1 flashing every second, and my on/off light flashing 5 times a second.
I've read on here, it means the heater relay. But surely a rinse and spin doesn't heat up.
Years ago I had to change the thermo switch on the drier as it kept tripping, but we no longer use the drier side of it.
What's next to try?
