Strage one, nearly 2 yrs old and been find until now. Problem is when the drum gets full and start to spin water is coming up and out through the washing powder dispenser.

Stop and reset and put to pump out and is fine, but try again on a load and leaks through there. So its pumping out fine, have taking the waste pipe off and cleaned through and where it connects to seems free of debris but not sure what else to check?

Now this could be related, our teenage son put some clothes in 2 weeks ago and didn't notice a nappy in there which got washed into all the clothes. After we found this out put it on a 90degree wash to get rid of any nappy residue. This was 2 weeks ago though and has worked ok since yesterday.

No error messages etc, any ideas??

Where would the filter live? When I took the small plastic cover off the back to remove the drain pipe i couldn't see anything obvious?

It could be in two places under the kickstrip at the front or at the rear under the drum. Your looking for a big black cup made of rubber.

Found it at the back of the machine, and boy was it full of crud, google eye, x2 50ps, x2 20p, x10 1p, my teenage sons chain wrist band, plasters, kids lollypop stick, some horrid thick black fluff, plastic and I think thats it.

Took the filter out and cleaned, check as far as my fingers would go where that boot sits on and think I got it all. Also I put the ping pong style ball back into the filter and fastned up.

On a cycle now so touch wood!

Thx:)

I have the similar problem :(, the filter is clean, is there any other filter that can be blocked?[/img]
