Hi can anyone help me to diagnose a problem i'm having ?? it keeps tripping the fuse board everytime i shut the door on the machine, i have located where this cable connects to the pcb and disconnected it and the fuse board stays on but as soon as i reconnect it blows, thanks in advance

So it's not the lead. Try disconnecting the motor / heater.

Thanks, disconnected the pink wire at the front right and this has solved the electrics tripping, am i right in thinking this is a thermister ?

That's the dryer heater. Yes that's whats tripping it.

Thanks for your help, have never used the drier on the machine, will leaving this disconnected effect the washing machine from operating ?

No , just tape the wire up till you replace it.
