Thanks Rocks, checked it out toniight, the sensor resistance was only 6 ohms which i figured is too low, so I will order a new one to fit .

I encoutered f15 error with my WT540, the "on/off" one and the "final spin" are also flashing. Pls tell me what should I do?

Changed the capacitor and all is well! Cost £2.50 and a favour at work for soldering services. Job done and happy. Thanks all
