Hi problem no 2 after replacing a set of bearings. when i start my hotpoint wma35 the door locks but the light keeps flashing and it wont start a program? any ideas?

OK checked the wiring and the switch all looks good i guess it might just be a duff switch on the door. Is there a way of checking the door switch to see if it is that before i go out and get another one?
