Which storage company recommended and what insurance is needed .

House contents need to be stored for a few months or longer, including clothes, tv etc. What sort of boxes for over winter storage ie do they need to be waterproof/rodent proof ?

Are any facilities temp and humidity controlled ?

Which is best value for money ?

TIA

As your location is a bit vague (United Kingdom) it would be hard to recommend a particular company 'cos they may be t'other end of t'country.
Try Google and look for a company located near you:

Go for at least 3 quotes for storage costs
Establish in writing the rules for any unexpected extras (like if you need to go into the store to get something out that you suddenly need badly)
Ask your House Contents Insurance provider about insurance. It is normally cheaper to extend that policy and they will be happy if its a reputable mover/storage company

ones that accept large bags of fertiliser are good value , allegedly

Great advice guys and/or dolls. Although I can think a member who might argue against getting quotes, it is, nevertheless, sound advice.
