I have bought an old house (approx. 1870) and it has a brick/rough outer surface that has been painted. It hasn't been touched since the 1960's.The paint is peeling and it needs repointing in places anyway so how do i remove the paint. There is a lot of green on the walls too.
It is clay lump brick inner construction so surveyor said to use the correct paint so it can breath!!!! Why don't they just tell you what paint, any ideas?
Builder said it cant be sandblasted but use Nitromores - its a 3 bed detached -is he kidding?
