how do i repair a rip in vinyl

Just wondering if anyone can help,i have managed today to but a 1.5" rip in my vinyl in the middle of my lounge,,the rip is clean thankfully.

What can i use to glue it strong and then what can i use to smear over the rip afterwards to keep it safe,,i read about vinyl seam sealer but i cannot find it anywhere.
