how do I replace sep02 fiesta heater fan resistor-pls help!

Hi. Thanks in advance for any help offered

I have a 52 plate ford fiesta(new shape in 2002). Blower only works on setting 4. can get it hot or cold so understand it to be the heater fan resistor? supposed to be any easy job to replace but I can't even find it!!! can someone please give me step by step instructions? It's doing my head in!!!

In my '99 Fiesta its mounted in the heater ducting up behind the glovebox, that will be the cause of your problem.

Mine got a bit overheated & damaged the cabling multiplug.

I had looked everywhere imaginable, including up behind the glove box, but with no success.
In the end I resorted to a mechanic. £12 part, £20 labour.
Still none the wiser as to where it was though lol
