How Do I Twist This Annoying Valve Out The Way?

Some idiot council plumber guy years ago decided it would be a good idea to allow a single stock-cock to establish dominance over at least 180mm of territory originally belonging to a fridge:

Seeing as this is the water feed into the house, how do I twist it out the way (counter-clockwise about 45 deg) and give at least 80mm back to its rightful owner?

Crack the nuts and rotate. Put towel underneath to control the dribble.

You would be better doing it clockwise about 125 degrees. So you can easily reach and turn it.

Remove and fit a full flow lever valve.
