How do you unplug this connector?

This is the Transfer case module under drivers seat of a 2006 Izuzu Rodeo. The 'check 4wd'light is on, and 4wd won't engage. According to numerous online sources the module needs resetting and this can be done by bridging some pins on this module with a length of wire.
But! I need to unplug first to establish I've got the correct pibs!
Any ideas?

My guess is the flat white bit pushes down but it's difficult to tell really without having it in front of me
 
Car connectors almost always have a retaining nib that is released by pushing down a lever or inserting a screwdriver.

so I’d guess as suggested above; push the white bit down
 
Could also possibly lift up if there's a tab on the wiring plug instead

The white bits are locked in to an outer black connector:

Don't try and unclip only the white part, the black part should come too (I think! ;) )
