Hi,

We're having 3 of our bedroom walls skimmed to cover artex. The pattern isn't too deep. However, on one wall, it's blown so that's getting redone totally. That wall and one of the others are outside brick walls. The other two are internal: One is brick, the other partition.

Once complete, how long should we leave the plaster to dry?

What recommendations on the best way to paint these to avoid any problems?

thanks

Some more details - all walls have been hardwalled, PVAed and skimmed (on top of the Artex). In total, I would say about a quater of an inch deep.

The fella said it would be OK to paint in about a week but from what I've read that seems very soon.

You can paint walls once new plaster has been applied after 24 hours with Dulux Trade Fast Matt..............................................
