How much is the average 5ltr tub of PVA?

Was just wondering how much you guys pay for your PVA, a five litre tub. I'm asking for a friend who will shortly be opening a diy trade counter in brum and if he can buy a few palletts of the stuff, he hope to knock them out at £4.25 plus vat for 5 litres.

Is that a good price?

Thanks in advance, Oh, and he will be knocking out scrim tape at £1.99 a roll.

PS Just wondering what the norm price is, not selling anything or advertising, he wont be open for 2 months anyway. I just need to convince him the price is a goodun.

It varies on the quality. If it's good stuff it's a good price. If it's some rubbish like the Screwfix No-nonsense - then it's nothing special.
