I'm considering having a WC in a space where I want to do as much as I possibly can to keep it as short as possible.

The internal width of the room will be 750-770mm, I reckon, so fine on elbow room, but front-to-back I want to minimise.

Any pointers to the shortest short-projection WC on the market? I don't mind at all having a high-level cistern if that moves the front of the pan even closer to the back wall.

And, realistically, what's the least space I can get away with between the (outward opening) door and the front of the pan?

I once fitted a Sanicompact into a corridor-like wetroom because there wasn't sufficient width to get a standard WC in. Only 430mm front to back

Back-to-the wall with potential to hide the cistern in a cavity?

High level cistern?

Fitted some RAK toilets 600d 350w very good toilet.

iirc sone of the internet sheds sells 'bari short projection' units.Think they are 590d 380w.

For comfortable distance in front of the pan at least 600mm minimum .(more if the user is very tall, lardy or has mobility issues). To promote use of that room is should not be uncomfortable or claustrophobic, also consider the need for a basin.

good luck.

also consider the need for a basin.
