How to finish new wooden doors against render

I've had new bi fold doors fitted (varnished) and they've been rendered upto. How should I finish? If I paint the render and run a bead of silicone I can see it smearing over the wood of the door frame.

What is standard practise to seal render against a wooden varnished frame?

Standard practice would be a low modulus silicone sealant as close to the colour of your doors as possible.

you could run some tape down the frame prior to sealing it to give a neat edge. You can than paint back to this to keep it nice and tidy.
