I want to make some crawl boards so that I can mess around in the loft and whatnot and I was wondering what I can make them out of? I would like to use the cheapest wood but not so much so that I'm willing to risk falling through the ceiling! Are there particular boards that I shouldn't use? MDF? Particleboard?

Just use the 8 x 2 interlocking chipboard.Me personally ive got 3/4 ply in my loft but i got it for free
