How to membrane over an octagonal roof

I have an old summer house I'm in the process of renewing the roof. I need to put membrane on the roof before the tiles.

What is the best way to place the membrane over an octagonal roof? especially at the peak

Same as a normal roof. In layers, and one piece lapping the ridge (apex)
