how to mend alpha cd28c combi boiler neon B HELP

brand new boiler, went to fire her up for the first time and it went through it's cycle, fan, pump ect ect and fired up, then 10secs later she locks out with neon b constantly illuminated, any ideas what it could be? the air vent is open so its not air trapped in the boiler, i've got a basic understanding of the guts of a boiler but no experience in fixing internal faults, thanks for any help

sum company called gas safe wales o somthing along thoses lines but they left the job half done, obviously couldn't have commissioned the boiler so going to have to get a gas saf registered plumber in to commission, just want to try and get it runing 1st

Sounds like a rectification fault if it actually lights, and only light B is illuminated get it installed correctly and if still not working call Alpha out, but it will need to be done correctly

Sounds like no spark, or at least an ignition fault with 'B' illuminated just on its own.

No problems for you, just call Alpha in under warranty.

Sadly though Alpha are one of the few maufacturers who's warranty isn't valid without proof of proper installation and installer.

the manual says somthing about pressure tubes bing blocked or spark generator bing incorrectly wired
