How to open a lightweight door to 90degree via a remote control?

I have recently built a summerhouse and put a TV behind a cupboard door (for security and space reasons). At the moment I have to open it manually which isn't really a problem but I like the idea of having it on a remote control. I was thinking of purchasing an actuator arm and some of those remote controlled extension leads/socket things. Unless someone had a better idea on how I can go about doing this?

Thanks

Picture? Size?

Normally a door would slide up and down compared to opening out.
Do you have enough room for an up and over type thing?

One option might be a door horizontally split widthways so that pulling up the door bottom towards the hinge results in the door creasing in the middle and moving outwards.

A linear actuator is basically a mo torised piston type arrangement that will push/pull whatever is attached a set distance .

Look at this

Here are some piccys of the situation. Its more of a door than a cupboard door but very lightweight. The TV is around 4kgs
