Hi, i know this might seem a daft question but does anyone know how to open a Potterton Mini Minder E controller. There are no facia screws and it seems rather tight. Any help would be great. Thanks

Are there not one or two screws underneath? and pulls forward at the bottom and lift off the backplate.

hi, thanks for that but there are no visible screws anywhere. i've looked very closely at it. that's what is confusing me. is there a false facia anywhere?

Got me stumped there.Has it been buried in the wall a bit?I was sure they had fixing screws below.

the controller is well off the wall. for the life of me i can't see any screws or where they would go. it's a bit bizarre i'm afraid. thanks for your help anyway.

Just Googled it and there are screws underneath, one bottom lhs an the other bottom centre.Get a mirror to see them.Cheers.

hi, i can assure you there are no screws. there is a slot that looks like a broad screwdriver could fit in there. i've tried that and it's still solid. there are two other holes which i've looked in and there are no screws. this is a bit strange i must admit

Some later Potterton timers are released by pushing a screwdriver into the slot you mentioned and disengaging a clip/hook.Meybe thats it.All I know is that it must come.

hi, yes i think it's along those lines as well. i think it will be getting ripped off and a new unit installed. many thanks for the help though.
