Is there an easy way to tell whether my builder is not doing it right?
We have a builder who we trust. One of his employees has recently started on repointing our house. My wife has indicated doubts about a possible shoddy job. She hears short series of bangs followed by long periods of silence. She is concerned the builder is taking only a biot of the mortar out. On the other hand: we do not want to accuse anyone unfairly.
Is there an easy way to tell?
