How to remove it

Hi, I've got this fitting. My understanding is the large disc is undone then can unscrew it. I can't get it to budge at all. Any suggestions please

We need to see a picture of the underside. They'll likely be a nut or similar there that unscrews. You won't get anywhere trying to tackle it from the top

Is it the bit that is against the tiles? If so, maybe look for an Allen key screw

Some of these work where the wall disk is captured when the overhead tube is tightened into the wall plate elbow.

Hi definitely no Allen key or hole its a solid disc.

I know when we fitted it 10 years ago it screws into a connector. I just can't recall if the disc moved first. I'm waiting on a new shower screen then I will run a hot water through and see if I can turn it a bit.
