I connected my new Humax to my satelite cables and followed the on screne prompts. The Humax never got passed -checking signal strength -, it kept searching.. I checked the signal by reconnecting to the old Sky box and all worked to full strength. Any ideas. chris

Bad connection, faulty Humax or you didn't read the manual.

sadly read the manual, checked the connections (works ok with the Sky box) so have come to the conclusion it must be faulty. I am a bit concerned there seems to be a lot of Humax customers suffering from tuning problems. Still. chris

In the back of my mind there's a faint memory that the Humax has an LNB power setting, which must be correctly selected.
