HYGENA APP2420- LIGHT WORKS BUT NO EXTRACTOR FAN.

Can anybody help with this please, the fan does'nt run when the switch is made.
I have checked inside the white covered electric block on the left hand side above the hood, I have got 240v on the live and neutral on the right hand side of the 4 terminals but nothing on the live and neutral on the left.
Also the light stays on constantly and will only switch off at the plug.
