Hello
I have just taken the wallpaper off from a wall that was added to my property. The wall is made from chipboard facings and now that the paper has been removed it feels rough to touch. Is this easlily rememedied with a sander or should I repaper the wall.
Hope somene can help!
Thanks!

Sound like glue deposit.

I would use a orbit sander very lightly

Thanks for that - does it have to be an orbital sander?

No I just think it would easier without putting too much effort into it.What were you thinking of doing?

Was thinking of using a normal sander that sands backwards and forwards and not a rotary one (just because I don't have a rotary one) Fine sandpaper best?
Thanks again
Nick

Yes :!: if the fine glasspaper won't do it try the next grade up (rougher).

Few years back I got told off by my woodworker teacher for calling it sandpaper instead of glasspaper which is made of fine glass and not sand !
Look like sand eh :)
