My Ideal Elan boiler(approx 15 yrs old) works fine on Low setting but when switched to high lights for 20 secs or so and switches off. It starts again almost immediately for the same length of time. It will do this indefinitely. Could it be the HIGH stat or anything to do with gas pressure?I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Gas pressure is no different wether powered from lo or hi stat... I would go for faulty hi stat after checkin the wiring and connections on it
