IDEAL ISAR HE35 BOILER PROBLEM

HI EVERYONE

HAVE AN IDEAL ISAR HE35 BOILER, THE PROBLEM IS WHEN I PUT THE CH ON THE HEATING COMES ON FOR 30 SECONDS OR SO AND TURNS OFF AGAIN AND DOES THIS ON A CYCLE IT DOES NOT STOP ON CONSTANTLY EVEN IF THE TEMP IS PUT FROM 20 DEGREES TO 25 DEGREES HAVE LOOKED AT BOILER WHEN IT HAPPENS THE LED COMES ON SOLID FOR 30 SECONDS THEN FLASHS FOR AGES THEN WILL COME ON AGAIN FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS. NO CODE HAS COME UP AND HAVE TRIED TURNING OFF AND RESET.

Instead of having nightmares why not call a boiler engineer?

The pump may be failed or weak or it might be a boiler fault.

Yes hot water works spot on, ch wont heat constantly solid light for 30 sec ish then flashs for 5 mins or so and than on again for 30 secs.

what is the pressure reading on the guage?



needs to be between 1.25bar and 1.5bar

Presure is 1.6 bar on gauge

It sounds to me like poor circulation. The heat is obviously leaving the boiler but not quick enough and that is why it goes off after 30 seconds then cools then comes back on. Check the flow and return valves are fully open underneath the boiler.. Then unless your Gas safe registered that's about all you can do. Its most likely the pump has seizing up as this happens a lot on these boilers. But it could also be a Faulty thermister or diverter valve.

Had a plumber come out and fit a new thermostat and themistor and is still the same.
