Hi, I have a 25+ year old Ideal Standard Toilet.
The toilet handle itself is fine, but the lever nut and bush need replacing (the bush has split in 2).
The original part I need is: https://www.bathroomspareparts.co.u...sal-cistern-lever-nut-bush-e006967-7513-p.asp
After a few hours googling I can find nowhere that sells it.
Can anyone point me at an alternative replacement part I can use?
Thanks in advance.

I would say it’s 1/2” or 3/8”, which you could measure. You could purchase a replacement, try emailing these and ask if one of the handles will fit, or if they do a spare thread that will fit.

FFS! Seems you're right Chris.

Yep - quite a lot of sites seems to advertise the E006967 part, but not allow you to buy it. :(

Should I forget about replacing the bush + nut and just look for a complete handle replacement?
e.g Something like: https://www.taps2traps.co.uk/produc...-chrome-toilet-wc-handle-fits-ideal-standard/ looks similar to the handle I currently have, but the current handle length is 105mm rather than the 85mm of the new one, so I'm not sure how it would look.

Any other alternatives?

You could ring ideal standard and ask for an appropriate alternative?

In English it will be about 5/8 of an inch shorter. Less than the thickness of your index finger and I'm sure no body will notice.
