I just paid £16 for a set of 250mm, first tool out the box & the best!! I've bought all sorts over the years & only started using the Cobras a couple of years ago. Lovely tool & for anyone thinking about buying cheap water pump pliers, save your money for these fellas!!

It was Amazon mate, but they've changed the price now, they're now over 19 quid. Stil worth it though.
Shop around, but I didn't need to tell you that.

I think most people pronounce it Ny-pex. Listen to this German chap who works for them, at 0:06 and 0:09 he says K-neepex, then at 0:11 he pretty much dropped the K that time and called it Nippex.

What about Wera or Wiha tools then? You realise they're also German and so are pronounced 'Veera' and 'Veehah'?!
