Superb Classis British Film from the play by Bill Naughton, as an aside the daytime shots filmed in bolton show what england was like back then.
(The DVD is crystal clear if you can get it.)

Its the dialogue thats the thing some of it is excellent, Majorie Rhodes barbs to John Mills are classic.
