I want to fit a timer to immersion - the timer says 13amp, but my immersion says 15amp as supplied by a MCB. The heater is 3kw, 240volt, newish in a direct part L compliant cylinder. Is this timer no good? It is from Toolstation and says for immersion heaters

Your 13amp timer, whilst close to its limit, is still rated above the max draw of your immersion element so no it shouldn't be dangerous.
