Indesit IDL 530 Dishwasher info advice wanted

Hiya there

Been given a brand new [well, used less than 10 times] Indesit IDL530 dishwasher, it still has its shrinkwrap type stuff on it.

Quick question. Is it a hot or cold water dishwasher?

It only has one inlet pipe, and it has a red connector on it. [like the hot, for a washing machine]

the Indesit manual [ http://www.indesit.co.uk/indesit/_pdf/manuals/19504679804_UK-USA-AUS.pdf ] says it must have cold water feed, but can also have hot water.

At this stage, I dont really want to mither the person that gave it me.

So, any ideas?

It is best to connect it to the hot water supply as it saves the appliance having to heat up the water by itself and thus saves mony.
