Hello,
I turned on the tumble dryer and after maybe 2minutes it took the RCD out in the house..
After that the tumble dryer just takes it out straight away without even been turned on. This means there is a potential difference between earth and neutral. I took the back off to find 1 of the heater elements is cracked in half!. I have never really done repairs on appliances so i was wondering if maybe there are spare heater elements available to buy? if so how would i go about disconnecting the one already there and commissioning the machine once the new one is installed? Or is it worth just buying a new machine?
The machine is: Indesit Tumble Dryer G74V
All replies welcome,
Carlos
