The drum has been making very loud nosies whilst spinning then on the last wash some of the clothes were scorched and burnt (same pattern as the holes in the drum). Has any one got any ideas as to what the fault is?

have you checked drum bearings by trying to rock drum up and down from top and bottom and from side to side to see if there is any play or movement on bearings
