We have a problem with our Indesit WIDL 126S washer dryer

Firstly the drying programme has stopped working, it spins like its completeing the cycle but its not giving out any heat, we have a seperate dryer so we aint that bothered with that at moment

Secondly, and the big problem. When we run a cycle it is sticking on each programme. We have to manually turn it to the next setting to finish the cycle. This only started yesterday. There are no flashing lights, it just seems like the dial will not turn

The machine is about 4 or 5 years old

It would be good if you could test the element 1st

Thus eliminating or proving the cause

I do not have the tools to test the element, how much would an element for this machine and where would I get one from. Cakeman i'm assuming you are in the trade

£15 - £30 with thermal cut out as well
ebay or search washer spares supplers on tinternet
all seem to be pretty good enough
