Hi all, a company has said we have damp on an area of wall inside and will inject silicon fluid, my question is should the outside area be done as well. It's a slate damp coarse, thanks for your time.

Yes we do as internal wall is damp and yes we have checked the cavity's.

If anyone could answer above question would be appreciated, following on from this, no one was at home when the silicone injection was done. The holes have been drilled but how do we know they have injected the silicone, reason for asking is that there is a few other issues we have with their work, thanks for your time.

if the cavities are clear,then why inject the outside skin?
we used to clear out the cavities and inject only the inside.
but this means removing plaster to a certain ht,and smashing holes in the wall and clear out al/any crud that was bridging the cavitie.
