ink from trainers

my daughter has scribbled ball point blue and red pen all over her new white leather trainers. please help, any ideas how to remove it?

Methylated spirit on a rag will usually take ball-point off, especially if it is fresh. It may also remove the white polish, if they are leather, but you can buy white sports shoe "polish" in plastic bottles with a sort of sponge in the top that also covers scuffs and stains and will hide any remaining marks.

Wipe it off any logos or coloured designs before it dries.
 
We used a cream called DiDi 7 which worked on ballpoint like magic not sure if you can still buy it though, we got it at our local market...
 
the daughrer has probably outgrown the trainers by now, since it was posted last year

Try baby wipes (or make up removing wipes) we used to use these at the shoe shop, but the wipes can dry out the leather, so a natural dubbin will help to soften the leather again.
