I have two walls that need to be dot and dabbed with 37.5mm thick insulated plasterboard (12.5mm PB and 25mm PIR insulation)
One of the walls is brick and the other is thermal block, dry fix foam will be used to attach the boards to the wall and the intention is to have the smallest possible cavity between the boards and the wall.
There are already some cables (2.5mm2 ring final and 6.0mm2 radial for a double oven) on these walls that have plastic capping over them.
Questions:
* If I leave these cables as is and make a small 10mm recess in the insulation (I couldn't guarantee the insulation wouldn't touch the capping ) on the PB around where the capping is would I then base my calcs on method 102?
* If I were to chase the cables in and install them in 25mm x 10mm oval conduit and then render over the chase before boarding would that be a different method?
