when installing central heating and runing the flow and return pipework to pick up the various different radiators. Does it matter if say one raditor has the flow on the left hand side of the rad. and another with the flow on the right hand side?

not unless you have a rad where manufacturers instructions state the flow must go in on a particular side (sometimes found with designer rads)

Hi all,

Normally best practise to fit flow on same side throughout, but, as long as you make sure you fit the TRV's on the flow pipe. Use bidirection TRV's and you won't have many problems...

So as long as i get a flow and return to each raditor it doesn't matter what sides there on aslong as I use biodirectional rad valves?

does it still not matter if the flow and return are to different sides of the raditor if its a zoned heating system? With two zones as long as there's a zone valve on the flow as it spilts off to the different zones.

Your radiators are home energy centres. Like your Chakras, they have to be in alignment. If you have more than seven you're dealing with your aura. If your Chakras aren't spinning in harmony you won't have homeostasis, so it's bound to be the same with radiators.
You have to balance your energy centres, just the same.

The second chakra often offers us the opportunity to lessen our "control issues" and find a balance in our lives, teaching us to recognize that acceptance and rejection are not the only options in our relationships. The process of making changes in our energy flow through our personal choices is a product of second chakra energy. A well-compensated second chakra helps one to maintain a healthy radiator yin-yang existence.

If you use bio directional valves you will be in harmony with your environment zone.
Don't forget you clear your aura - that will need flushing for a full filling experience.
