Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes,I am getting rid of a bath and intend to install a 1200x700 shower base and shower screen. What I want advice on is how to fix the base. The base will be on a purpose made plinth. Do i just site the plinth and base in the required position and then level it up with the adjustable legs,is this all that is required as regard fixing?.Also do I carry the wall tiles down to the base top and the seal with sealant the same as the bath was done.

i usually put some 2" x 1" along the wall to make it extra sturdy then level from that. A bit silicone along the wall edge is also a good idea. Sometimes when its leveled the feet have holes in them for fixing.
