I’m about to install some insulated plasterboard on an outside corner (around a redundant chimney breast).
After it’s done I’ll be getting a professional plasterer in to tidy up and skim the rest of the room so it all looks the same.

Just wondering, with the insulation being thick, what’s the best approach for the outside corner? Do I effectively mitre the board and insulation, or perhaps take a notch out the insulation to allow the two pieces to effectively butt up?

I’d butt up (don’t mitre) and cut a notch as you’ve mentioned.

If you are putting in the angle beads for the plasterer, you can staple them on.
