I have a log cabin/garden room I'm looking to insulate and make more use off.
My preference would be to insulate from the outside to save losing space inside.
I was planning to build stud walls and insulate with 75mm or 100mm PIR, membrane, baton and tongue and grove cladding all the way around.
One side has 190mm overhang on the roof. The rest have 250mm overhang.
I was also planning on installing a floating floor with 100mm PIR, taped joints and OSB/chipboard floor with spacers around the edge.
Again 100mm PIR and chipboard inside under roof(give it an industrial look).
Can anyone see any obvious issues with this or offer any advice or what to avoid.
I've attached a picture to show the actual room and a plan with dimensions. Made of 42mm timber.
Thank you
Craig
