Hi
I have an external wall which i want to line with insulated sheets then plaster over.
It is currently plastered however when knocking on it, it sounds hollow.
So what I want to know is, do I get rid of the current plaster, attach the thermal sheets to the wall, then attach plasterboard and then skim it. If this is the way, what should I use to attach the plasterboard to the thermal sheets? Do I need to drill through the thermal sheets and into the wall?? Not sure what is the best way.
If anyone has a better way of insulating the wall in a non cavity way it would be much appreciated
Thank you very much
