I am having plasterer in tomorrow to close the reveals around the windows before he starts plastering around the house. (I never heard about reveals before but I am guessing its the section of brickwork around windows).
Its a 1930s house and the old plaster is off so the cavity gap is exposed and he's suggested I get some insulation he can put into reveals before he closes it off. What would be a suitable good insulation for this purpose? Googling it comes up with something called thermabate but it sounds like something more suitable for new installation maybe (whole house will have cavity insulation using polybead later on).
Is just buying a roll of fibreglass a good solution or is there something little bit better or more suitable.
Many thanks
