Hello
I have a timber framed bungalow with has been bricked around it with single brick walls.
The house has no heating and it is freezing! We are in the process of refurbishing the bungalow and have come to the issue of what to insulate it with...
The option that has been suggested to us is to take off the plasterboard inside and insulate the internal timber walls with Celotex or something similar..
Would this be a good move? I have read things about the walls then not being breathable and I don't want to start causing damp issues in a timber house. Some of the walls seem to contain loft type insulation, some have felt layers or even nothing!
Thank you for any help
