Hi,

Why are wall insulation rockwool slabs sized at 400mm / 600mm etc when that is normally the measurement of the centres? Wouldn't it make more sense to be 355mm / 555mm or something? If you put 400mm slabs in a 350mm gap is it going to bowed too much and not a neat fit?

Thanks,
M

The gap between the studs depends on the actual sizes of the studs doesn't it. When rockwool is held behind plasterboard between two studs it's gonna be a nice tight fit is it not?
